The most recent &ldquo;Super Mario Odyssey&rdquo; is a great place to start, or you could go all the way back to the original &ldquo;Super Mario Bros.&rdquo; for the NES. For the RPG fans there&rsquo;s the &ldquo;Paper Mario&rdquo; series out there, and don&rsquo;t forget about the multiplayer madness that is &ldquo;Mario Kart.&rdquo;

Mario is no stranger to parties -- how many &ldquo;Mario Party&rdquo; games have there even been at this point -- so throwing a Mario themed party is a festive way to kick off the celebration of Mario Day.&nbsp;
And not only that, but a party is a great time to show off your new electronics to all of your friends -- whether it's a TV, sound system, or even just your record player.


 
<h2>5. Get Creative</h2>
&nbsp;Mario has always been an outlet for creativity, whether it&rsquo;s going all the way back to the &ldquo;Mario Paint&rdquo; days or the imaginative worlds he goes through in &ldquo;Super Mario Galaxy.&rdquo;
This Mario Day, take a page from his book: Create your own adventure. Maybe it means spending some time writing down that short story you&rsquo;ve always meant to do, getting started on that drawing, or recording that melody you keep humming to yourself. Maybe you want to start working on the next great video game. Whatever it is, take that step toward being super and do it!

<h2>1.&nbsp; A 4K Compatible System </h2>
The first thing you need to figure out if you want to play video games in 4K is what 4K compatible system you want to use. The original versions of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can&rsquo;t play games at 4K, so you&rsquo;ll need and updated PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, or Xbox One S.&nbsp;
Nintendo fans are out of luck -- the Switch doesn&rsquo;t support 4K. And of course, there&rsquo;s always the PC route too, but we&rsquo;re sticking to the console/TV combo for this article.

<h2>2. A 4K TV</h2>
A 4K ready console is only half the battle. You&rsquo;ll also need a 4K TV to see everything. The good news is that 4K TVs have come down in price quite a bit, and there are tons of options.&nbsp;
